Mubarak Wakaso made his debut for new club, Shenzhen FC in the Chinese Super League.
The Black Stars midfielder was introduced in the 73rd minute of the game as his side earned a hard fought away victory against Henan Jianye in their first game of the season.
The 30 year Old joined the Chinese side on a free transfer. He recently played for chinese side, Jiansung Sunning and also had stints in Russia, Spain and Greece.
Wakaso has been clubless since leaving Chinese Club, Jiansung Sunning and that may have informed Coach Jordi Cruyff’s decision to leave him on the bench.
Shenzhen FC won 2-1 and another Ghanaian, Frank Acheampong was on target for Shenzhen.
