Mohammed Kudus was on target for Ajax in their thumping 4-1 victory over Excelsior in the Dutch Eredivise.

The Ghanaian forward continued his fine form for the Dutch champions as he scored in consecutive games and took his personal tally to seven goals in the league.

Kudus scored on the half turn and hit a ferocious strike past the goalkeeper to score the third for Ajax following Tadic and Klassen strike.

Rensch added a fourth to put the icing on the cake and help Ajax back to winning ways.

Ajax have endured a difficult season and have failed to win in each of their last four games before facing Excelsior.

Their inconsistent form cost manager Alfred Shreuder his job as the head coach of the team after replacing Erik Ten Haag during the summer.

The Dutch Champions are fourth on the table, five points behind leaders Feyenoord who dropped points away to Fc Twente.
