Division Two Club Kwahu Warriors have struck a kit partnership deal with ambitious Sportswear manufacturing firm STRIKE, Extratimeonline.com can confirm.
The Eastern Region-based side becomes the latest Ghanaian club to join the ‘Strike’ train as the sportswear manufacturer look to have its presence felt in the West African nation.
The deal will see the Portuguese-owned company kit the Division Two side in both home and away matches for two seasons, starting from the 2020/21 campaign.
“We are extremely elated about this deal, because in sporting partnership of this nature, both partners are expected to be equally committed to moving forward together; it’s an even exchange of energy and value,” Chief Executive Officer of STRIKE, Yussif Chibsah, exclusively told ExtraTimeOnline.com.
“We are looking to push Kwawu Warriors towards the finish line; so they meet their apsirations in this ever evolving global football economy.
STRIKE will be providing jerseys, bibs, bags and other training equipment to Kwaku Warriors for the next two seasons.
The home shirt features a plain blue shirt with the official logo of STRIKE emblazoned onto the right side of the shirt and a black short with the STRIKE logo embellish on the left side.
The away kit is a plain black color with blue stripes around the arms and the neck. The STRIKE logo is emblazoned onto the right side of the shirt.
Kwahu Warriors will also benefit from football management and marketing advisory services from player management agency, Club Consult Africa (CCA).
CCA will market players of Kwawu Warriors on both local and international transfer markets and arrange overseas club tours and tournaments.
Kwahu Warriors becomes the sixth Ghanaian side to land deal from STRIKE after the Asante Kotoko, Great Olympics, Emmanuel FC, Vision FC, Liberty Professionals.
STRIKE are also the official kit sponsors of the Ghana Arm wrestling team.
