Asante Kotoko playmaker Fabio Gama has extended his congratulations to Hearts of Oak following their success in the just ended Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians were crowned Champions of the 2020/2021 premier league season, ending a 12 year wait for the Ghana Premier League title.
Fabio Gama is a shining light for the Porcupine Warriors in a rather frustrating season where they went trophyless.
The 28-year old bagged 4 goals and 6 assists to cap off an amazing season where he was nominated for the Ghana Football Awards.
The Brazillian import irked some Hearts fans after revealing in an interview in April that he knows nothing about the Accra-based Club.
“No I don’t know what is that” when he was asked if he has heard about Hearts of Oak.
The forward was however on the losing side when Kotoko played Hearts in a top of the table clash at the Accra Sports Stadium to hand Hearts their first Premier League trophy since 2009.
The Brazillian took to facebook to extend his Congratulations to Hearts upon winning the title and added that he never meant to disrespect the club.
“I also want to congratulate Accra Hearts of Oak on the title of Ghana Premier League, and it was never my intention to disrespect them,” the Brazilian said in his post.
