Accra Great Olympics Starman, Gladson Awako says correcting the wrongs from their previous game against Liberty aided the win,1-0, against Asante Kotoko.

The deputy captain was pleased with the performance against Kotoko after losing 2-0 to Liberty on Saturday at the Carl Raindoph park on matchday five.

Awako assisted the only with a beautiful run into the box going past about defenders in the process before lobbing the ball to the far post for Michael Yeboah to head home.

“It was not an easy game at all. We lost against Liberty which people started doubting us and I am very happy about the display this afternoon.” He said in the post-match

“I think it was just one of the normal games. Losing against Liberty was due to one or two mistakes we all knew within ourselves. So we needed to correct ourselves from the Liberty game and I think that is what helped us win today’s game.” He added
