Caleb Ekuban is set to have a medical with Italian Serie A side Genoa ahead of a reported €2.2 million move from Trabzonspor/
The 27-year-old will sign a 4-year deal with the Italian side.
Genoa is expected to announce Ekuban as their new player when he passes the medical.
They have both agreed personal terms with the attacker reportedly going to earn 1 million euros in a three-year deal.
The Turkish club wanted 4 million euros for the forward Ekuban, whom they bought for 1.5 million euros from Leeds United in 2019.
Ekuban had an instrumental campaign in the Turkish top-flight last term where he scored 10 goals in 32 appearances.
The 27-year-old began his career in Italy at Mantova Youth before moving to Chievo Verona where he spent 7 years at the youth and senior levels.
Ekuban scored 10 goals in the Turkish Super Lig last season
He enjoyed loan spells at FC Suditrol, FC Lumezzane, AC Renate all in Italy and also FK Partizani in Albania.
