Eddie Nketiah was the star man for Arsenal as they beat Oxford United 3-0 in the third round of the FA Cup.
The Arsenal forward scored twice within six minutes to ensure the Gunners progressed to the next round where they will face Manchester City.
Nketiah has thrived since he was installed in the starting XI following the long-term injury to Gabriel Jesus.
His two goals in the FA Cup is his fifth in the last six games as he continues his development under Mikel Arteta.
“He showed great composure,” said Arteta. “He’s a great finisher, with the timing of his runs as well.
“He showed his quality and his work-rate is getting better and better. I’m really happy with him”. A delighted Arteta said after the game.
The English forward who is yet to be handed a call-up to the National team is eligible to play for Ghana through his parents.
The GFA have been keeping close tabs on the forward as several attempts to convince him to play for Ghana has not yielded any positive results so far.
The Arsenal youth team graduate was however spotted in Ghana where he enjoyed his holidays during the world cup break.
