Yussif Chibsah has dismissed rumours suggesting Derrick Sasraku has signed for Albanian club KF Tirana.
Reports in the local media emanated on Thursday that Sasraku has penned a three-year deal with the Albania champions.
But the player’s representative, Chibsah, has quickly moved to deny speculation that the former Aduana Stars striker has already agreed to ply his trade in Albanaia next season.
“We have received a contract proposal from them [KF Tirana] but we are yet to sign,” Chibsah exclusively told ExtratimeOnline.com.
“When we agree to the terms, Derrick will sign for them. But for now, nothing has been signed.”
Sasraku returned to Ghana in January after mutually terminating his contract with Tunisian club Club Africain.
Medeama, Legon Cities and Hearts of Oak were interested in his services but a move to any of the Ghana Premier League clubs failed to materialise.
Sasraku left Aduana Stars in 2018 to join Tunisian top-flight side Club Africain after winning the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League with the ‘Ogya’ lads where he scored ten goals in 23 matches.
During his stay at Club Africain, he scored three times in his twenty appearances for the club.
