Hearts forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh paid a courtesy call to his old club Republicans at Madina.

Fresh from guiding the Phobians into the last four of the MTN FA cup, the National u-20 skipper visited his old club and presented a signed Black Satelites jersey to the club.

The chairman for the club, Haruna Mohammed and Coach Kassim Mingle received the jersey on behalf of the team which also included an undisclosed amount of Cash.

”Everybody at Republicans continue to thank Afriyie for his benevolent gestures towards our club and his club. We pray he continues to rise and make his name on the global stage within the shortest possible time” Chairman Haruna said.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has enjoyed an amazing season, guiding the Satelites to AFCON glory in Mauritania and is on the verge of a domestic double with Accra Hearts of Oak after helping the Phobians lift their first GPL title since 2009.
