Coach Samuel Boadu bemoaned the lack of goals in Hearts 1-0 triumph over Wydad in the CAF Champions League.
A confident Hearts display saw the Phobians defeat the Moroccan giants in the first-leg of the Champions League at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Isaac Mensah got on the end of Salisu Ibrahim beautifully whipped cross to score the games only goal and give Hearts the advantage going into the second leg.
Hearts were by far the better side and could have won by more goals but were denied by some goalkeeping heroics and some missed opportunities.
Speaking in his post-match conference after the game, coach Boadu said he was proud at how his team set up tactically and revealed he wanted his team to score.
“Tactically I think the game was good for us because many even thought Hearts of Oak cannot even get a goal against WAC but of course we wanted to score more as well” – Coach Samuel Boadu
Hearts will travel to Casablanca for the second leg on Sunday, 24th October, 2021.
