Accra Hearts of Oak will face the winner of the tie between Niger side AS Douanes and Mali’s AS Bamako in the preliminary stages of the CAF Confederation cup.
This follows a draw in Cairo on Tuesday where the Ghanaian giants are scheduled to begin their campaign in the second round of the preliminary stages of the competition.
The Phobians are returning to the competition following a 4-0 humiliating defeat against Algerian side JS Saoura.
The Ghanaian side lost the tie 4-2 on aggregate after a comfortable 2-0 win at the Accra sports Stadium.
Hearts will hope to go a step further in this year’s competition as they await the winner of the tie between the two sides scheduled for September this year.
