Bibiani Gold Stars earned a hard fought 1-1 draw away to Medeama at the Akoon park.

Former Kotoko forward Ahmed Toure put the hosts in front in the 82nd minute but failed to hold on to their lead as the visitors equalized through Joshua Akoto to steal a point in Tarkwa.

Medeama have endured a difficult start to the season-with coach Ignatius side winning a point from two games following their 4-0 thrashing away to Bechem United.

Bibiani Gold Stars on the other hand have enjoyed a dream start to their debut campaign with a return of four points from two games against Berekum Chelsea and Medeama.

The Premier League new boys will now face Kotoko in their next fixture with both sides yet to taste a defeat in the League.
