Former Hearts player Anas Seidu has been laid to rest following his demise on Sunday July 2nd, 2023 after a short illness.
The legendary forward was buried at the Awudome cemetery according to Islamic customs.
The former Hearts forward starred for the club during the 70’s where he led the club to multiple trophies on the domestic scene and was part of the famous “FEARSOME FIVE” squad that brought glory to the club during his prime.
“We are saddened by the death of one of the “FEARSOME FIVE” players that made us proud and smile some years back” an Accra Hearts of Oak statement read shortly after he was confirmed dead.
His family will commemorate his final funeral rites with a three days Supplication ‘Adua’ on Tuesday July 4th, 2023 at the Anas Thunder street at Angola, Accra Newtown.
