Ghanaian international Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has supported some of his countrymen living in Udine in Italy to provide relief amidst the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The world continues in its fights against the disease with several countries currently under lockdown as a precautionary measure to curb its spread.

Italy, where Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has spent most of his time as a professional player, is one of such countries.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19, it has left many in distress and in need of help. The Udinese player who is on loan at Hellas Verona has extended a helping hand after donating relief items to Aseda Association to be distributed to Ghanaian nationals as well as other foreign nationals.

Items shared amongst the beneficiaries include packs of Spaghetti, Pasta, Bags of Italian and Perfume Rice, assorted Drinks, creates of Beer, boxes of Oil, as well as some other items.

Mr. Kofi Amponsah who is the President of Aseda Association, after receiving the items from Agyemang Badu expressed appreciation on behalf of the welfare organization and all the foreign nationals who will be benefiting from the items.

He observed, “This donation will go a long way to help ease the pressure on us, the lockdown has affected many of us, and we could see from the faces of the families that received the gifts.

“We are so grateful to Agyeman Badu, and wish him very well in his playing career, he’s been a blessing to us”.
