Ghanaian duo Frederick Ansah Botchway and Kwame Baah have joined Ethiopian side Adama City on a one-year deal.

The duo join the Ethiopian side from Ghana giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Sarmatex respectively.

Botchway, 25, join Adama City just two months after joining newly promoted side Sarmatex after failing to agree a new deal with previous club Accra Hearts of Oak.

The midfielder has played a crucial role for the 21 times champions since joining the club from Liberty Professionals.

He led the club to a domestic double last season- a feat the club has failed to achieve in the last twenty two years.

He was also part of the team that helped the club clinch the MTN FA cup in the just ended season.

Former Kotoko goalkeeper, Kwame Baah on the other hand, was part of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko team who were crowned champions in the Ghana Premier League following a seven-year drought without the trophy.

The duo join Adama City as they seek to inject quality in their squad ahead of the new season.

The Ethiopian top-flight side finished 11th in the 16 team championship and are hoping the addition of the Ghanaian duo will push them in the top half of the table.
